Point Pleasant, WV
I don’t really have too much to say today. In fact, up until the end of August, this is going to be a recurring theme. I’d like to remind everyone once again that, despite the team, I’m just one guy who’s doing all of this on the website and our various social accounts. Times like now, where I’m spending a decent amount of my week working on our first episode release, are times where the blog is going to run a little lean. For the time being (possibly through the fall) the blog is going to be a mostly biweekly thing (one post every other week). There will surely be times where I have the mental capacity to make more than one blog post at a time but I won’t make any promises. Every now and again you’ll get a bonus post, I mean.
I’ve been to Point Pleasant, WV (the home of the mothman, men in black, and Indrid Cold himself) three times over the past three years. On our last trip, I made a video that I felt really captured the dreary atmosphere that tends to pervade the Ohio River Valley. I know it’s not anything super exciting, but hey, it’s something, right?
Before I share the video, just wanted to add that I’ll be on a podcast (Church of Mabus) on 8/8. That weekend (I’ll set a time around the first of the month) I’ll be back. Instead of my normal post, I’ll be doing a live Estes Session. If you have any questions to ask the entities from Signal & Noise, this might just be your chance! This is going to be a regular thing, so don’t be too upset if you miss it. I intend to start doing other stuff like that on a more regular basis, too. In the near future, we’ll be going live on most investigations.
Stay weird!
